Established in April 2015, the ViBe Creative District serves as the city’s first arts and culture district. Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (Virginia MOCA)
Virginia MOCA is a cornerstone of the city’s visual arts scene. The museum presents rotating exhibitions featuring painting, sculpture, photography, glass, video, and other visual media from internationally acclaimed artists as well as national and regional talents. Notably, Virginia MOCA organizes the annual Boardwalk Art Show, a juried outdoor exhibition that attracts artists from across the United States.
